Imagine an office, school, or any workplace where printing, scanning, and copying just work—no errors, no delays, no headaches. Sounds like a dream, right? Well, that’s become our reality at St. Stephen’s, and I wanted to share how we got here.
A Fortunate Meeting at MISBO’s Conference
Last year, I attended the MISBO Annual Conference in Clearwater Beach. During the Sourcing Solutions session, where everyone gets a “speed dating” style chance to meet consortium partners, I met Steve Petralia from Revolution Office. Steve was incredibly friendly and genuine—no sales pitch, just a great conversation about the challenges we were facing with our existing copiers and printers (and their related costs).
A Seamless Transition to Efficiency
After exploring the possibilities and potential savings, my Business Manager and I decided to give Revolution Office a try. They provided us with top-quality Ricoh multifunction printers and Brother desktop printers. But it wasn’t just about new machines; it was about improving our everyday work life.
Their team handled everything—delivery, setup, configuration—and even took care of our old equipment until our previous lease ended. The transition was smooth and didn’t disrupt our daily operations, which was a huge relief.
Smart Solutions for Everyday Needs
They also introduced us to some helpful software. With Printanista, we’re never caught off guard by low toner levels anymore. It’s such a small thing, but it makes a big difference not having to scramble when supplies run out. Plus, PaperCut has given us better control over our printing, which has been both efficient and eco-friendly.
Support You Can Rely On
If any issues come up (which hasn’t been often), their support team is on-site within four hours. That’s a big improvement over the days we used to wait with our previous provider. This is a huge relief to me as the sole person on the IT side of things at our school.
Savings and Community Support
A huge bonus has been the cost savings. Revolution Office’s approach has saved us thousands of dollars compared to our old contract. It’s not often you can say that upgrading your equipment actually saved money.
I also appreciate that they’re a company that gives back. They sponsored ShiftinEdu this year, even though the event was canceled due to Hurricane Milton. It’s nice to work with a company that supports the community and stands by their commitments.
Why I’m Sharing This
I wanted to share this experience because it’s made such a positive impact on our campus. If you’re dealing with the same frustrations we used to have with printing and copying, I recommend reaching out to Steve and letting him explore ways Revolution Office will be able to help.
If you have any questions or want to hear more about how the transition went for us, feel free to reach out. I’m always happy to share experiences that might help others.
Cheers,
Felix
