About Me.

Educational Leader & Technology Director

Felix Jacomino is the Director of Technology at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Day School in Coconut Grove, Florida, where he supports innovation, infrastructure, and strategy across a forward-thinking learning community. He is also the founder of Miami Device, now known as ShiftinEdu, an international conference that brings educators together to explore innovation, creativity, and the future of learning.

At St. Stephen’s, Felix collaborates with a dedicated team that includes Design Studio Educators and Innovation Facilitators, supported by proactive teachers and effective professional development, all centered around student engagement and success. The school is recognized for its intentional and meaningful technology integration, where technology is used to create and collaborate, never for passive consumption. Felix calls it his “dream job” — a place where curiosity and collaboration drive growth.

Originally trained in Music Education, Felix’s path led from the arts to technology, but his purpose never changed: to teach, inspire, and share knowledge. Over the past two decades, he has presented at more than a hundred conferences across the U.S. and internationally, helping schools embrace technology in ways that empower both teachers and students.
